Kazakhstan welcomes 5,500 ethnic Kazakh repatriates in 2025

ASTANA. June 27 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan has welcomed 5,496 ethnic Kazakh repatriates (kandases) in the first half of 2025, bringing the total number of returnees to 1.153 million since independence in 1991, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection reported Friday.
