ASTANA. July 30 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – The Court of Stepnogorsk, a town in the Akmola region, central Kazakhstan, has granted a request to reduce the prison sentence of Bakhytzhan Baizhanov, convicted of concealing a serious crime, under the amnesty on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the country’s Constitution, the regional court’s press service told Interfax-Kazakhstan on Wednesday.
