Kazakhstan boosts flaxseed exports by 80%, EU demand surges after tariff on Russia

ASTANA. Sept 4 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan exported 506,300 tonnes of flaxseed in the first 11 months of the 2024-2025 marketing year (September 2024 to July 2025), which is an 80% rise year-on-year, said Yevgeny Karabanov, head of the Analytics Department at the Grain Union.
