Ex-head of Kazatomprom subsidiary suspected in embezzlement scheme

ASTANA. Sept 10 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - A former chairman of the board of JSC Volkovgeologia, a geological and drilling subsidiary of the national atomic company Kazatomprom, is suspected of embezzling 86 million tenge in state funds, the Financial Monitoring Agency (AFM) reported Wednesday.
