Kazakhstan halts pension withdrawals for cosmetic surgery

ALMATY. Dec 12 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan’s Otbasy Bank halted a program Friday that allowed citizens to use pension savings for cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries, citing a sudden surge in applications that suggested widespread abuse.
