ASTANA. Dec 17 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — An Airbus A321neo operating a flight from Almaty to Astana returned to its departure airport on Wednesday after the crew declared a distress signal due to smoke in the cabin, Kazakhstan’s Civil Aviation Committee (CAC) said.
