Kazakhstan passes sweeping digital code to regulate tech, data rights

ASTANA. Dec 25 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Kazakhstan's parliament passed a comprehensive Digital Code on Thursday, establishing a new legal framework for the country's digital environment and data protection. The legislation now goes to the president for signing.
